Bolarinwa Oladimeji Akeem is a Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Ilorin. He has held positions as the undergraduate and postgraduate coordinator. He is the immediate past coordinator of Community Based Experience and Services (COBES) units. He has led research grants as a PI and published over 80 papers in reputable journals. His research bias is in cardiovascular health, disease control, and health services. He is the 2023 Bogle Award winner of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
