Professor Gordon Kayode OSAGBEMI is a Professor of Public Health at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria, and a Consultant Public Health Physician at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. He has a special interest in Epidemiology and Disaster Management. He was Head of the Department of Epidemiology & Community Health at the University of Ilorin.

He has served as a Consultant to the following organisations and institutions; Kampala International University, Kampala Uganda, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, Nigerian Institute for Social and Economic Research, Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja, MSF, CDC USA and Amsterdam Institute for International Development. He has been involved in programme management activities in various parts of Africa including Nigeria, Sudan, and Uganda; and has published many papers in international scientific journals and periodicals. He is an External Examiner in Public Health to The West African College of Physicians, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, University of Benin, Nigeria, and Kampala International University, Uganda.
